Eileen Brady-Weir, born on January 17, 1955 in Schenectady, New York, peacefully departed this life on February 20, 2024, at The Stuart Meyer Hospice Center in Palm Coast, Florida with her family by her side. She was the beloved daughter of the late Alfred Slover, Sr. (March 1999) and Laura Slover. (May 2004)
Eileen found enduring love with Patrick Weir, whom she married on October 21, 2011, but they had been together for the last 20 years. They made their home in Palm Coast, creating a sanctuary of love and companionship.
Eileen leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, she is survived by her 3 children, Tanya Brady-McAndrew (Cory) of Port Orange, James Brady, Sr. of Ormond Beach, and Jason Murray (Jana) of Palm Coast. The light of her life was her grandchildren, Brian & Ryland (Tanya & Cory), Jimmy Jr (James Brady, Sr), Ember, Jacie, Lyric, Cainan, & Noah (Jason & Jana). They brought immeasurable joy to her life. She also cherished her two great-grandsons, Kiaus (Ember), & Luca (Lyric), who filled her days with laughter and love.
Eileen is survived by 1 sibling, her brother William "Billy" Slover (Mary) of New York, 2 nieces, 8 nephews, cousins, great-nieces & nephews who as well brought love and laughter to her, especially great-niece, Brooklynn Genevieve & great-nephew, Colt Slover.
Eileen will be laid to rest later in New York next to both her parents, eldest brother, Alfred "Al" Slover Jr. (August 2017) (Nancy), niece Mary Jane (MJ) Marie Slover (July 1999), and her beloved sisters, Angel Marie Slover (March 2019), Autumn Nelson (November 2020).
Eileen's life was defined by her unwavering dedication to caring for others. She served as a caregiver before embracing her role as a devoted homemaker to her husband Patrick. Her selflessness, paired with her quirky sense of humor, made her a cherished figure among her family and friends.
A proud American, Eileen never hesitated to express her convictions and advocate for those she loved. Family always came first to her, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to their happiness and well-being.
In her leisure time, Eileen delighted in playing games, particularly bingo and mobile games. She shared a passion for motorcycles with her beloved husband, and together, they enjoyed countless adventures on the open road.
Eileen Brady-Weir was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother (Ma'Maw), and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
