We lost a most loving mother, Eileen M. Bushwar. Eileen lived a long life of happiness for 99 years. She was born in
Lewis, Kansas to Hazel and Dennis Mulhollen. Eileen grew up in Ingleside, Texas. After graduation she went on to Business College.
She met her loving husband WL Bushwar, Jr. at the USO dances in downtown Corpus Christi. They were married in Oceanside, California while WL served in the Marine Corp. Eileen and WL were married for over 69 years.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents Hazel and Dennis Ray Mulhollen; brother, Buddy Ray Mulhollen. Also, her sweet husband WL Bushwar, Jr.
Eileen worked for Campfire Girls as a secretary. She then worked for Nueces County in the 94th District Court until she retired in 1985. She always had a smile on her face even in death.
Eileen has left behind her most cherish possession her children; Larry Ray Bushwar and Cherie Gay Bushwar. She also had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many nephews and nieces.
She lived a life for her family and others. Eileen achieved many accolades in her life. She was Businesswoman of the year and a Lifetime member of the PTA. She also received the highest award from Campfire Girls for leadership. Eileen was also a descendent of John Adams the 2nd and 4th President of the United States.
Our family would like to thank AADI for hospice care. Also, we would like to thank Toni Limas Care for taking care of our mother for these last couple of years. Thank you, Toni, and Oscar Limas.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, January 21st, 2026, at the Seaside Reid Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at the Reid Chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2026. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be: Oscar Limas, Bill Dickson, Andrew Dickson, Garrett Dickson, Les Huddleson and Mike Sutton.
