Eileen Dixon of Sherman Texas died on March 13, 2026, at the age of 87. She was born in Leasburg Missouri on July 4, 1938, to Mary Elizabeth Farrar Graddy and Carl Edgar Graddy. She married Tommie Lee Dixon on June 8, 1957, in Fort Smith Arkansas and subsequently moved to Bartlesville Oklahoma where they had 2 children, Richard "Rick" Dixon and Linda Dixon Gross. For many years she worked as a Cook/Manager at Murphy's Steakhouse, Murphy's East and the Quarters Steakhouse in Bartlesville. She subsequently worked and retired from housekeeping at Jane Phillips Memorial Medical Center. After the death of Tommie Dixon, she met and later married Lloyd "Pete" Rambo and moved to Big Cabin Oklahoma and then to Claremore Oklahoma. After the death of Pete Rambo, she moved to Sherman Texas to be near her daughter. She enjoyed living at Asher Point Independent Senior Living in Sherman and the many friends she had there. She loved reading, gardening, spending time with her family and all the cats she had throughout her life.

Preceded in death by her parents, husbands Tommie L Dixon and "Pete" Rambo, 3 sisters Eva, Margaret "Mickey" and Helen as well as 2 brothers, Billy and Edgar.

She is survived by:

Son, Rick Dixon of Tulsa Oklahoma & spouse Lisa Black Dixon, Daughter, Linda Dixon Gross of Sherman Texas & spouse Kevin P Gross.

3 Grandchildren: Kristyn Nicole Sanders McClain of Claremore Oklahoma (spouse Ronnie McClain), Kimberly Ann Clare of Broken Arrow Oklahoma and John Wesley Dixon of Hastings-on-Hudson, New York (spouse Anita Autry Dixon).

7 Great Grandchildren: Lyssa Sanders, Christopher "Aria" Sanders, Dylan Sanders, Riley Clare, Madison Clare, Kate Dixon and Claire Dixon.

Her final wish was to be cremated, and her ashes spread in the hills near Winslow Arkansas which will be done privately by the family at a later date.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Asher Point Serenity Suites, 3701 N Loy Lake Road, Sherman Texas. Officiant will be Alice McBride, Asher Point Chaplain.
