Eileen Frazier, 89, of Ludowici, Georgia, passed away July 26, 2025 surrounded by her family.
She was born to the late Ethel and Primus Frazier Sr. on August 1, 1935 in Ludowici, GA. She was a graduate of Walker High School, and received her Bachelor's degree from Savannah State. She was an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority serving the Chatham County community. She served as an educator in the Ben Hill County School System and a librarian in the Tattnall County School System for over 30 years. Her passion for education did not end with retirement as she worked with the Adult Education Program in Long County and served as a mentor for many aspiring students.
She received Christ at an early age and was a member of the St. Thomas Missionary Baptist Church. It was not unusual to find scriptures in the nooks and crannies of her home or her give God glory in every situation.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Primus Frazier Jr. and Clarence Frazier; one sister, Anna F. Scott and one brother in love, Thomas J. Farlow, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory; a daughter, Ethel LaTarsha Frazier; one grandson, Micah T. Frazier; one sister, Zephyrie Farlow; one niece, Deborah E. Farlow; and four nephews, Rhodney M. Farlow (Rose), Adolphus E. Farlow, Rojure C.B. Farlow (Taylor), Charvetz E. Scott and a host of great nieces and nephews.
