Eileen Loretta Kinney Frost
Eileen Loretta Kinney Frost, 90, of Branford, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Connecticut Hospice, Branford surrounded by her loving family. She was married to the late Charles Frost, the "love of her life" out of high school. They married in November, 1954, and celebrated their 67th anniversary in 2011. Eileen was born in New Haven on October 9, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Miles and Bertha Tuttle Kinney. Charles and Eileen built a family together which included their four children, Doreen Vasil, Patricia (Larry) Spinello, David (Leslie) Frost and Kevin (Pamela) Frost. She was the beloved grandmother to Jenilee (Greg) Mullin, Lawrence (Monica) Spinello, Eric (Alicia) Vasil, Stephen (Sherlie) Vasil, Kevin and Adrienne Frost. Great grandmother of Sofia, Penelope, Isabel and Cassius Mullin, Jameson, Emmalia, Noelle Vasil and Mia Vasil. Eileen adored her grandchildren, referring to them as her "lambs." Nothing put a bigger smile on her face than when she was embracing one of them. She enjoyed traveling to Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire and holidays with her family. She was a very spiritual individual who loved attending Sunday Masses and religious music. She enjoyed traveling with Charlie, helping and supporting others, reading a good book and a refreshing swim in an ocean or lake. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to everyone who ever cared for Eileen during her lifetime including Lenore Salomon and so many wonderful medical professionals along the way.
