Eileen Grace Gerred

GERRED, Eileen Grace - Age 94, of Fenton, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Rockwell Memory Impaired Center. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 23, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with Pastor E. Taveirne officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 12:00 PM until time of service. Mrs. Gerred was born March 19, 1915 in Gladwin, the daughter of Claude and Lila (Blaney) Card. She was a 1933 graduate of Gladwin High School. She married Elmer William Gerred June 18, 1951 in Indiana. Mrs. Gerred was a member of Fenton United Methodist Church. She was an avid bridge player and belonged to several bridge clubs. Surviving are: husband, Elmer W.; son, Kenneth Lee Allen of Mt. Morris; son-in-law, Francis Belill of Fenton; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister, Neva Burns of Alaska; brother, George and wife Mary Card of Midland; several nieces and nephews.
