Eileen Greco, a resident of
Bakersfield, California for 30 years, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded be her loving family on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. She was born in Stamford, Connecticut on December 10, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Victor Dulski and Eileen Moore Dulski.
A true testament to enduring love, Eileen and her high school sweetheart, Robert ("Bob") Greco, shared a remarkable, loving marriage of over 58 years. Their bond was the foundation of a beautiful family. She was an exceptional mother, always offering unwavering support to her children and inspiring them to be the very best they could be. She was blessed with three sons and nine grandchildren.
Eileen was an inspirational figure in every aspect of her life. During her nearly three-decade career at State Farm Insurance Company, she wasn't just a manager; she was a genuine mentor who inspired her employees to strive for excellence, personal growth, and career advancement. Eileen's leadership transcended traditional workplace hierarchies, as she led with profound dignity, empathy, and compassion. She created an environment where her team felt genuinely supported and understood. Eileen's intellect was equally impressive, as she was known to be a financial genius and a math wiz.
She embodied the spirit of her favorite film, It's a Wonderful Life, living a life filled with kindness and quiet grace. Her love for her family and friends was central to her being. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, sitting at a slot machine for hours on end, laughing with friends, and hosting dinner and parties. Her greatest joy came from celebrating holidays with her family-especially Christmas. When a bell rings, we know Eileen has received her angel wings.
Eileen's spirit and love live on through her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Bob Greco; her three sons, Robert Greco and his wife, Darlene Greco, Michael Greco and his wife, Nicole Greco, and David Greco and his partner, Shawn Imitates Dog; her nine grandchildren: Dylan, Anthony, Cameron, Jack, and Joseph Greco, Zoe, Jaelynn, and Amber Romano, and Harmony Imitates Dog; her niece, who she cherished like a daughter, Ashley Burke; her grand-nephew, Austin Vodola; her two sisters, Ann Drescher and Patti Lucadamo; her nephew Alexander Ferro; and her niece Emily Lucadamo. She was predeceased by her sister, Maureen Ferro.
Eileen's life was not a moment in time, but a masterpiece woven from the threads of love, purpose, and selflessness. It is in this spirit that her family invites all who knew her to a celebration of her life, a time to share stories, laughter, and memories that honor the woman who inspired so many. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 6th, at the family home, with more details to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her honor to
St. Jude's Childrens' Research Hospital, which she supported throughout her life.
