Eileen Marie Kent- 82

Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Langdale Hospice House. She was born to the late Benjamin Beavan and Helen Beavan on September 4, 1943, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Eileen had a deep love for her dog and devoted many years to caring for rescue animals. She also found great joy in writing, which allowed her to express her thoughts and creativity. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Marie Kent; sons: Robert John Kent, Jr. and Richard John Kent; brother, Thomas Beavan.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Robert “Bob” Kent of Valdosta, Georgia; daughter, Victoria “Vicky” Honeycutt (Tony) of Valdosta, Georgia; son, Michael Thomas Kent of Quitman, Georgia; brother, Robert Evan Beavan (Sally) Riverside, California; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, January 16, 2026, in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens.
