She grew up in Dearborn, second oldest of six siblings. She loved her large Irish family and enjoyed all the summer vacations in Camp Dearborn Black Lake. She married the love of her life, Patrick McHenry, "Mac", on June 20th, 1970. They skied, bowled, golfed, and gambled through the years, meeting so many cherished friends along the way.
