Eileen Raetz Obituary
Eileen Ann (Miklos) Raetz, formerly of Greendale, passed away peacefully onSaturday, October 5th, 2024 at the age of 92 years old in Rhinelander, WI. Eileen was born on August 24, 1932 to Anna (nee Petrovic) and Joseph Miklos in Wauwatosa, WI. Eileen held many positions throughout her career, with her favorite being a switchboard operator at Unit Drop Forge Corporation in West Allis, WI. After marrying Robert Marcks in 1959 Eileen devoted herself to raising her two children Michael and Michelle, and entering contests on the side. Her successes including winning several cars, various cash prizes, and trips to Hawaii, Jamaica, and New York City.
Eileen was the beloved wife of the late Robert Marcks and the late Willard Raetz, and dear friend of the late Andrew Grimmer. She is survived by Son Michael (Lori) Marcks of Little Canada, MN; Daughter Michelle (Kurt) Veldhuizen of Minocqua, Wi; Sister-in-law Patricia Miklos; Stepdaughters Chris (Dion) Gracyalny and Connie Raetz; and five wonderful grandchildren. Eileen is proceeded in death by her parents Anna and Joseph Miklos; Brothers Charles and Donald Miklos; and Sister-in-law Norma Miklos.
Private family visitation and services for Eileen will be held on Friday, October 11th at the chapel at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 3801 W. Morgan Avenue, Milwaukee. Internment to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Compassus Hospice, 1571 US Hwy 51, Suite C, Arbor Vitae, WI 54568.
