Eileen Ross

Eileen (Doran) Ross CANANDAIGUA - Eileen (Doran) Ross, age 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Howard "Bud" Ross; two sons, Mark (Millie) Ross and Peter Ross; four siblings, Charlie (Ann) Doran, Paul (Margie) Doran, Cathleen O'Neil and Sheila Barretone; sisters-in-law, Pat, Joyce and Anne Doran; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by eight siblings, Tom, John, James, Mike and Casey Doran, Sister Mary Doran, Bonnie Mahoney and Jean Coyne. Eileen was born in Canandaigua and was the daughter of Matthew and Mary (Travers) Doran. She grew up in Canandaigua,and was a graduate of St. Mary's School, class of 1948, and Canandaigua Academy, class of 1952. Eileen was a life member of St. Mary's Church and made many friends there. She taught religious education at St. Mary's for several years and also volunteered for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Eileen enjoyed antiquing and spending time with family. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 95 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Canandaigua. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Benedict Parish for St. Mary's Church, 95 N.
