Eileen A. Smith

SMITH, Eileen A. (Joseph) Age 51, of Easton, passed away surrounded by family after a lengthy battle with cancer on October 16, 2025.
She was the wife of Brian Smith for 21 years. Eileen was the loving mother to Douglas and Caroline.
Born in Milton, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Joseph and Elizabeth Joseph (Murphy). She was the sister of Maria and her husband Phil Peckham of Attleboro and Theresa and her husband Sean of Easton. She was the daughter-in-law to Richard and the late Mary Smith and sister-in-law to Chris and his wife Lela Smith. Loving aunt to Kaitlin, Thomas and Meghan O'Leary, Elizabeth, Madeline and James Peckham and Vivian and Evelyn Smith.
Eileen lived life to the fullest. She was a was a proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame and enjoyed connecting with lifelong friends that she met there on annual trips. She worked at IDC for 21 years as a Vice President of Market Research and loved the challenges that came with it.
Eileen spent every summer down in Scituate and had a love for travel including Europe and most recently to Turkey, and Greece.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral at Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center Street, EASTON, on Monday October 20th, at 9:00AM, followed by a Funeral Mass, at Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase St., South Easton, at 10:00AM. Visiting Hours at Southeast Funeral Home, 93 Center Street, EASTON, on Sunday October 19th, from 3:00PM-7:00PM.
