Eileen Lynn (Carter) Turner, of Clyde, died unexpectedly, Saturday June 1. She was born December 9, 1963 at The Bellevue Hospital to Roger and Sharon Carter. She attended Clyde High School and graduated in the class of 1982.
After graduation, Eileen began working at Whirlpool where she spent the next 32 years. Most of her years were spent in the machine shop on midnight shift. Eileen worked to live, but she truly lived for her family.
She attended every family function religiously. However, her greatest joy was found as a spectator to her sons', nieces', nephews', and grandchildren's sporting events and activities. Eileen couldn't be missed at these because she could be found as close to the action as possible without press credentials. Of course, always, with her camera bag in tow.
Eileen had endless faith in those she was there to watch. She was certain that "hers" was the best on every team they played on, or even was cut from! She was a very proud basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, cross country, track, football, dance, golf and roblox Mom/Grandma/Aunt.
Unbelievably, between all these events She also loved music (especially Arena Rock), history, travel, studying Witch Craft, Renaissance festivals and flea markets. Eileen was full of love and compassion. She was an ear to listen and a shoulder to cry for all she cared for.
Eileen is survived by her mother Sharon, sister Dionne(Brian) Myers, sons Skip(Ashley) and Darrin( Shawnelle) Turner, grandchildren Sienna, Beckett, Aurora, Koltan and Weston, nephews Logan(Juliet), Hayden, Luke and Carter Myers, and nieces Alicia(Angelo) Frias, Novaleigh and Gemma Myers. She was preceded in death by her father Roger, brother Roger and infant sister Alicia.
The world has lost the kindest soul it had left. For all those who loved her this leaves a void that can never be filled.
Her life will be celebrated with a visitation on Sunday June 9 from 3-5 pm and funeral services Monday June 10 at 10:30am, all held at Mitchell Auxter Funeral Home in Clyde. Memorials can be made in her name to the Humane Society of your choosing to honor her love of all animals.
