In Loving Memory of Eileen Frances Tumlinson Van Bibber

February 17, 1950 - September 5, 2025

On the night of September 5, 2025, cicadas sang their final summer song as the sky blushed with a sunset that draped the clouds in gold and rose. The air was gentle, the moon almost full and luminous. Casting a soft light upon a world settling into peace. In that stillness, Eileen Frances Tumlinson Van Bibber slipped into eternal rest, her passing as graceful as the night itself.

Eileen was the soft place where so many found comfort, her kindness and patience creating a refuge of warmth for family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She carried herself with quiet strength, offering love without condition and compassion without limit. Her presence was a steady light, and her love will be felt for a lifetime beyond her own.

She shared 44 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, David Van Bibber, a partnership filled with devotion, laughter, and unwavering support, a bond that stood as a shining example of love's enduring power.

Eileen is survived by her daughter, Alonna Tumlinson; her niece, Cassandra Moore, who was as close as a daughter; her devoted husband of 44 years, David Van Bibber; and her stepsons, Tim Van Bibber, Chris Van Bibber, and David Van Bibber Jr. To each of them, she was a steady source of love, comfort, and belonging - a guiding light whose devotion will forever shape their lives. Beyond them, a wide and cherished family carries her memory in their hearts, grateful for the tenderness and grace she so generously shared.
