Eileen Wolff, 71 passed on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Beloved sister to Jeff (Lynn), Donald (Ann) and David (Sharon). Loving aunt to Michael, Lindsay (Josh), James, Christopher (Karina), Jacob, Ben (Ratna), Joseph (Sadia), Jordan. Great Aunt to Molly, William, Kitt and Arlo. Preceded in passing by her parents Katherine and Lawrence Wolff.
Born in Chicago and living in Elmhurst, Eileen worked many jobs, including the Allstate Arena but her love was the family business Wolff's Flea Market where she worked for over 30 years.
A lifelong antique collector and cat lover, Eileen also volunteered at the Cat Guardians Shelter in Lombard.
Shiva Gathering: In our tradition, the family is holding an Open House Shiva Gathering Wednesday 5/15 3pm-8pm. The idea is similar to a wake, but is instead done after the funeral. If you would like to pay respects in this manner or cannot attend the funeral service, please email [email protected] for more information.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cat Guardians.

I first met Eileen at a Leonard Cohen concert at the Chicago Theatre when she came running up the aisle to sit beside me for his encores. She was immediately friendly offering her phone number and the idea that I might be able to work part time at her family´s flea market. I had just become unemployed. What followed were years of a wonderful friendship with many good times enjoyed at restaurants, concerts, and home visits. I will miss my dear friend very much. She was a generous and loving person.
