Yahle, Eileen F. nee Imhoff, 85, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Trinity Community Beavercreek. She is preceded by Larry Yahle, her loving husband of 33 years. Also preceded by her mother, Doris E. Imhoff Weckesser and William Weckesser; sisters, Esther Cornett and Doris A. Imhoff; brother, Darrell Imhoff; brothers-in-law Chris Cornett, Glenn Sutherland, John Molloy, Bill Kyne, Ed Yahle, Paul Yahle, Bill Yahle, Jim Yahle, Marvin Burns, Ronald Adams; sisters-in-law Dorothy Yahle, Mary Kay Yahle, Karen Imhoff and Nellie Yahle.
She is survived by her sisters, Betty Kyne, Audrey Sutherland, Gloria Smith, Darliene Smith, and Martha (Marti) Molloy; brothers Calvin Imhoff and Dennis Imhoff; her children, Patti (Douglas) Thompson, Carl Yahle (Sandra Johnson), Susan (Dave) Gagnon, Sandy Colegate (Charles R.) Lucas, Shari (Tim) Holland and Tony (Melissa) Yahle; 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eileen raised her children, and, after Larry's passing, she began working at Cracker Barrel Country Store on Miller Lane, where she dearly loved working in the gift shop and beautifully wrapping gifts. She thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings, working in flower gardens, growing tomatoes, and taking long walks. People loved her warm smile and laughter.
Family will receive guests from 10:00 am – 11:30 am on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439) where a funeral service will begin at 11:30 am. Eileen will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery next to her husband, following the service.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
