Elaine saved my life, gave me a safe place to stay in the middle of lockdown, became my family. Full of spunk, attitude, and the biggest freaking heart ever. Ill never forget your friendship, all the laughs, the late nights talking, all day long lockdown texts before i moved in.. the memories are endless. You were my surrogate big sister for a very long time. Ive never, for one second, stopped loving you like my family. Families sometimes have a falling out, but ive spent the past 5 years missing you and sending you love across the miles. I cannot believe you are gone. My heart is broken.. i hope the welcoming committee up in the clouds is full of love and, cocktails! Rest peacefully sister..

Elaine and I worked together for too many years. We became family. She got me through the pandemic and the days I didnt think I would make it. She didn´t know this, but she got me through so many more obstacles with just a simple memory. We had so many laughs together. My heart goes out to you mama Elaine and family.

I met Elaine 11 years ago at a Board Meeting. She turned and looked at me and asked what was my name. When I told her, she nominated me for the Board and our friendship started from that day on.
Elaine loved her family who had all moved to Santa Fe with her, she loved her cats even though they were old and ornery, and she loved her dogs.
Elaine was fun to talk with...sharing her experiences while living in New York, South America, Georgia, USA, and then settling in Santa Fe, NM, USA.
Elaine...you are Loved!! and You will be missed!!

It was truly a delight working with a conscientious soul who was humble as well as cheerful in all she did. She will be remembered by all of us forever.

There is not enough space to write the many, many wonderful memories of Elaine. I met her on her first day of a new job here. More than 19 years ago a friendship started...and grew stronger day by day. I miss you my sweet wonderful friend. DOUG
