Elaine Gloria Craigen, fondly remembered as "Auntie," was born on August 5, 1943, in Fitchburg, MA, and spent 82 loving years among us, before her departure on August 12, 2025. Elaine was a beacon of love and support, steadfast in her role as a homemaker, nurturing, and caring for those around her. Her passion for family was evident to all who knew her, and she created a haven of warmth and affection within her residence in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
Elaine was a member of the St. Joseph Club, where she fostered invaluable friendships and contributed to the community spirit. The beach held a special place in Elaine's heart, where she cherished spending time with her late husband, Butch. Her spirit of adventure was not confined to the shoreline, as she eagerly anticipated the trips organized by her beloved nephew, Craig.
Elaine's legacy lives on in her devoted daughters, Karen Craigen and Becky Blood, with her loving son-in-law, Keith Blood. She was a doting grandmother to her grandsons, Zachary Craigen, Tristin St Jean, Tyler Blood, and Teagan Blood. She is also survived by her sister, Claire Beaudoin. Elaine was preceded in death by her dear parents, Yvonne and Camille Berube, and her siblings Maurice, Raymond, Donald, Rene Berube, Theresa St Cyr, Doris Beauvais,Rachel Leger, and Germaine Cox.
