Elaine Crumb Obituary

Elaine J. Crumb
Elaine J. (Emmons) Crumb, age 91 of Sanford, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025 at MyMichigan Health. She was born on April 25, 1933 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Ernest and Ruth (Knight) Emmons. On July 17, 1954, Elaine married Robert D. Crumb in Lansing. They celebrated 55 years together before his passing in 2009. In her spare time, Elaine enjoyed reading and traveling.
Most important to Elaine was her family. From attending family gatherings, her children and grandchildren's sporting events, and spending time at the lake together, she made sure everyone was well loved. Her memory will be cherished by her children, Micheal R. (Peggy) Crumb, Karen M. (Randall) Kempf, and Tamme A. (Joel) Stockford. Elaine was a loving grandma to Kelly, Matthew, Hannah, Hailey, and Kyle, and great grandma to Jonas, Harper, Adalyn, Julian, Avett, Maren, Chancellor, Theadora, and Vinson.
In addition to her parents and husband, Elaine was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Ariana; and her siblings, Otha (Spence) Sleight, Duane (Joann) Emmons, Norma (Bill) Mateer, Eleanor (Don) Christy, and Marilyn (George) Lazroff.
Elaine's life will be celebrated with a service to be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd. Midland, MI 48640.
