Mrs. Elaine Marie Lyons Douglas, age 63 of Veedersburg, IN, went to be with the Lord, Thursday morning, Sept 18, 2025, at her home. She was born Oct 10,1961 in Danville,IL, the daughter of James & Norma Lyons.

Elaine is survived by her mother, Norma Lyons, her loving husband, Jeff Douglas, brother Bob Lyons (Diane), Greenville, NC, brother Scott Lyons (Michelle), Douglasville, GA, brother in law Sonny Douglas (Jennie) Attica, IN, sister in law Rita Oldani (Richard) Mims, FL and 5 nieces & 4 nephews. She also leaves many other family members & special friends who dearly loved Elaine & will miss her greatly. Elaine was preceded in death by her father, James Lyons & brother, Gary Lyons.

Elaine worked for St. Elizabeth Hospital for 25 years. She attended Veedersburg First Christian Church where she served as Treasurer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Veedersburg First Christian Church at 2 p.m. on Sept 24, 2025, conducted by Pastor Garland Pannell. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.

Prayers, thoughts, & expressions of love for Elaine & her family are greatly appreciated.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Veedersburg First Christian Church Stained Glass Restoration Project.
