Funeral Mass for Elaine Ducote of Hessmer will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Hessmer on Friday, June 2nd, 2023 beginning at 11:00am with Rev. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Mausoleum.
Elaine Ducote, age 85, passed away at the Colonial Nursing Home of Marksville on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Christine Ducote (Alfred) and Howard “Joey” Ducote, Jr (Arlene); grandchildren, Amanda Jeansonne (Corey), Brad Ducote (Vanessa), Candace Pospisil (Heath), Shancee Ducote, Tiffany Broussard (Benjamin), Austin Ducote, Derrick Ducote (Christina), and Lacie Viator (Keye); great-grandchildren, Laney, Ella Grace, Gage, Payton, Eli, Kistler, Paylin, Tristan, Blaise, Dawson, Dayton, Kash, Beckett, Landon, Davin, Kayze, and Laelynn; great-great-grandchildren, Knox and Emma Grace .
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, Ducote, Sr.; parents, Edward and Elise Guillory Saucier.
Visitation will begin at 4:00pm on Thursday, June 1st, 2023 at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura until 8:00pm that evening and will resume Friday morning at 8:00am.
