Elaine H. Habrat, a cherished member of the Milwaukee community, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, at Harbour Village in Greendale, Wisconsin. Born on April 8, 1934, in Milwaukee, Elaine lived a life rich in love and family connections.
Elaine was known for her affection for reading, particularly the works of Mary Higgins Clark, which provided her countless hours of joy. She found great fulfillment in spending time with her family and was particularly dedicated to babysitting for her beloved grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Thomas Habrat, and her loving family members, including Laurie (Artie) Lohrke, Patricia (John) Mueller, Kathy (Bob) Stelter, and Kerri (Daud) Chaudry. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Their lives are a testament to the warmth and kindness she imparted throughout her years.
The family will hold a visitation in her honor on November 21, 2025, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, located at 3100 South 41st Street, Milwaukee, WI, from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM. Following the visitation, a Mass celebrating Elaine's life will commence at 12:00 PM, also at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The burial will take place at Saint Adalbert Cemetery, located at 3801 South 6th Street, Milwaukee, WI, at 1:15 PM.
Elaine H. Habrat’s legacy of love, devotion, and familial bonds will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends.
