Gloria Ann Loeding, a beloved member of the community and a cherished family matriarch, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, in Greendale, Wisconsin, surrounded by her family at home. Born on February 18, 1933, in Sauk County, Wisconsin, Gloria lived a full and vibrant life dedicated to her family, friends, and faith.
Gloria enjoyed a fulfilling career in customer service at M & I Bank, where she touched the lives of many with her warm demeanor and always helpful nature. Her retirement marked the beginning of a new chapter filled with countless joyful moments shared with her circle of friends, often enjoyed over breakfast as they reminisced and created new memories together. Each day she looked forward to completing the daily crossword puzzle from the newspaper.
She was a steadfast woman of faith, whose unwavering love for Jesus guided her life and actions. Gloria's nurturing spirit and kindness defined her personality; she was known for being the nicest person anyone could meet, and her role as a caretaker was evident to all who knew her.
A devoted and loving wife, Gloria shared 75 years of marriage with her husband, Lyall. They exemplified a partnership built on love and mutual respect, one that was an inspiration to others. Together, they raised their sons: Mark (Grace Kieck), John (Julie), and Jeffrey (the late Kim) Loeding. Gloria's love extended to her grandchildren, who were the light of her life—Kristen (David) Krushinsky, Justin (Emily) Loeding, Adam Loeding, and Gloria (Matthew) Patten. As a great-grandmother, she delighted in the presence of Rafferty Patten and Kelli Krushinsky, embracing each moment spent with them. She is preceded in death by her son Gregg and daughter-in-law Kim, who are lovingly remembered by the family.
