Elaine T. (Champagne) Leduc, 78, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
Born on April 24, 1947, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, she was the beloved daughter of the late Albert and Jeanette (Beauchmin) Champagne.
Elaine dedicated many years of her professional life to Foster's Daily Democrat Newspaper, where she worked diligently as an Office Manager until her retirement. She took pride in her work and approached her responsibilities with care and commitment.
On November 16, 1963, Elaine married the love of her life, the late Robert Leduc. Together, they built a beautiful life and shared 60 years of marriage, raising two devoted sons who remained by her side with love and unwavering care throughout her life.
Elaine's warmth, humor, and big heart touched all who knew her. She loved playing bingo, getting lost in the world of Harry Potter, and was a passionate reader. Elaine cherished time with her family. Whether it was a casual dinner, a holiday gathering, or simply being in each other's company, those moments were the ones she held dearest. Her laughter, love, and presence made every family occasion feel a little more special. She also had a gentle way with animals and found great joy in being surrounded by the family's beloved pets.
She is survived by her loving sons, Glen Leduc and his wife Gayle, and Paul Leduc and his husband Thomas Williams; as well as loved ones she considered her own children, Paige Farmer, Carrie Ely, and Heather Richardson; grandchildren, Valerie Wrenn and Courtney Damon-Leduc, and her great-grandchildren, Myles Wrenn and Morgan Wrenn; brothers, Albert and Allen Champagne; and her sisters, Leona Fontaine, Luanne Romero, and Kate Fontaine; along with many other treasured family members and friends.
Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert; and her sisters, Maureen, Linda, Donna, Renee, and Sherry.
Elaine's kindness, laughter, enduring love and smile will remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
In keeping with her wishes, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
