Elaine Marie Libby, 74, of Manchester, NH, passed away on September 6, 2021. Born in Manchester on April 5, 1947, she was a daughter of the late John and Marie (Fournier) Libby.
Elaine was a lifelong resident of Manchester. She was a 1965 graduate of the Ste. Marie School and spent her career working for The Telephone Company for 33 years until her retirement. Elaine had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed camping and her brief stint as a motorcycle owner. She was a devoted dog-mom who found great comfort in sharing companionship with her beloved dog, Gracie. Above all else, she was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who cherished time spent with her family.
Elaine is survived by her children, Paula Stafford and her husband Paul of Berlin, VT and John Poulette and his wife Sharon Chase of New Boston, NH; her sisters, Sylvia Colburn and her husband Edward of Bedford, NH, Suzanne Arpin of Manchester, NH, Judith Albarano and her husband Paul of Londonderry, NH, and Janet Chapdelaine and her husband Rick of Manchester, NH; her grandchildren, Tristan, Cameron, Jake, John and Maddox; many nieces and nephews who she adored immensely; as well as extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 13th from 5pm-7pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
