Elaine Edra Perkins

Elaine Edra Perkins passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Atrium Navicent Health following a lengthy illness. She was a life-long resident of Macon, GA.

A celebration of life for Elaine will be held Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Bradley Baptist Church in Gray, GA, at 3:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior to the service. The reverends Steve Johnson and Cass Ducharme will officiate.

Elaine was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 21, 1959, to the late John Edward and Edra Smith Wrye

Elaine retired from The Department of Human Resources as a Child Support Agent. She loved her beach life and boating with Chuck in Destin. On calm evenings Elaine was always ready for a boat outing to see the dolphins near crab island. Elaine was a faithful member of Highland Hills Baptist Church serving with Chuck on several committees. She was dedicated to caring for extended family and relatives when the need arose.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Edra Wrye and her brother-in-law, Keith Boyett

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Charles (Chuck) Perkins and son, Brandon Perkins of Macon, sister, Elise Boyett of Statesboro, GA; niece Candice (Will) Slade of Pooler, GA; nephew Candler Boyett of Denver, CO, her dog and companion, Brodie, and numerous other relatives.
