Elaine Rogers Obituary

Elaine was born in Ohio and raised in Greenfield, Tennessee. She attended the University of Tennessee at Martin where she met her loving husband of 59 years, Larry K. Rogers. She dedicated 42 years of service to UT Medical Center, where she worked as a Cytotechnologist.
Elaine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose love and kindness touched all who knew her.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Dr. Roy and Clara Bishop, and her brother Dr. Hal Bishop (Peggy) of Memphis, Tennessee. Her brother, Barry Bishop (Louise), also resides in Tennessee.
She is survived by her husband Larry Rogers, her daughter, Melanie Rogers Ensor (Greg); and her cherished grandsons, Andrew Jacob Ensor (Jake) and Ryan Alexander Ensor. Elaine also leaves behind her beloved dog, Wulff, who rarely left her side and brought her great comfort and joy.
In accordance with Elaine's wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Central High School Bobcat Company, a program that was very dear to Elaine's heart, as her grandson, Ryan, is a proud member.
