Elaine L. Shaub

I work at the library, and Elaine would always tell me stories about her life when she came to visit. She talked about the holidays, the seasons, and her day to day life. My favorite stories were about how excited she was about her yearly trips to New York City and how she used to go ice skating there when she was a little girl. She liked to ask me questions about my day too and she always said hello and goodbye every day she visited the library. She was a kind and wonderful person and her friendly, bright personality was heartwarming. Elaine showed me how far small acts of kindness can go to brighten someone´s day, and has made a huge positive impact in my life. Rest in peace Elaine, you are an amazing person and you will be remembered in everyone´s hearts forever.
