Elaine Simmel
Elaine Simmel, 82, a resident of Rockville, MD and a lifelong Washingtonian, passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, November 4, 2021. A graveside ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at King David Memorial Gardens in Falls Church, VA. The family will be receiving guests from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the home of Dawn and Ray Rachuba in Woodbine, MD, immediately following the funeral. Before retiring, "Noni" was an interior designer for 15 years. She loved her family and spent much of her time with them. She is survived by her daughters, Tori Carchman (Bruce Carchman) and Dawn Rachuba (L. Ray Rachuba); seven grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. Donations in her memory can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association. Services entrusted to Sagel Bloomfield Danzansky Goldberg Funeral Care. www.sagelbloomfield.com
