Elaine M. Simone

Elaine M. Simone, 78, of Clifton, passed away on September 5, 2022. Born and raised in Clifton, Elaine was a lifelong resident and was a parishioner of Ss. Peter and Paul's Polish National Catholic Church, Passaic.
Elaine was an active Member of the Clifton-Garfield Lodge #1569, Clifton, for twenty-three years and served the Lodge, District, State, and Organization with distinction. Elaine served as the first female Exalted Ruler of the Lodge 2002-2003, she was the first female Northeast District Vice President 2005-2006, as well as the first female Northeast District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler 2012-2013.
Elaine served the Lodge as Treasurer for eleven years and also served as Chairperson on different Lodge Committees for all these years. Elaine was proud to be a big supporter of the National Elks Foundation.
Beloved wife for 45 years of Arnold Simone. Devoted mother of the late Robert Tabaka who passed away in 2020. Loving grandmother of Robert and Garry Tabaka. Dear sister of Linda Declet of Clifton.
Visiting Thursday 4-8 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Friday 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 10 AM at Ss. Peter and Paul's Polish National Catholic, Church, Passaic. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
