Obituary published on Legacy.com by Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. on May 10, 2022.
Elaine A. (Bianchini) Terreri, age 72, on Monday May 9, 2022 of Knoxville.
Born April 25, 1950, daughter of the late Bruno and Angela (Typanski) Bianchini.
Beloved wife of the late Peter E. Terreri.
Cherished mother of Kelly (Richard) Clark and Peter E. Terreri, Jr.
Loving grandmother of Katelyn (Richard) Laino, Taylor, Nicholas and Bennett.
Great grandmother of Adalyn.
Special Aunt of Blaise (Julie) Abramovitz, Martine (AJ) Graves and Courtney (Elias) Abramovitz.
Sister of Dolores (Bill) Longood, Albert (Linda) Bianchini, Diane (the late Mel) Miller and Bonnie (Bill) Abramovitz.
Also survived by 28 loving nieces and nephews.
Special friend of Darlene and Dave Stockhausen.
A graduate of Langley High School in 1968, Elaine worked for the Untied Steel Workers Of America for 35 years. After years of suffering, this strong, stubborn funny lady finally gained her wings. Elaine fought to stay with her family as long as she could and she never gave up on the idea that her miracle was right around the corner. Despite all the hardships she faced, she never lost her faith. She loved her family more than anything else and loved hearing all the details of our lives. We'll miss her fighting spirit more than words can say, but we know she's thrilled to see Pap again. "We love and miss you nana"!
The family would like to extend there gratitude and thankfulness to the hospice nurses from the Allegheny Health Home Care staff; Jill, Darla, Brooke and Jennifer and also the staff from 4 North at Jefferson Hospital including Andrea, Kayla, Lindsey, Hannah and Makayla.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate Masses for Elaine.
Family and friends received Thursday from 2-8 PM in the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick. Where Funeral Prayers will be held Friday at 9:45 AM followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Basil Church at 10:30 AM
