Eldon "Mac" McInnis was born on April 17, 1948, to Eldon Drew McInnis and Alta Inez McInnis in Brownwood, TX. He passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 77.
Eldon was a dedicated mechanic whose passion for automobiles, especially Fords and Mustangs, was well-known among his friends and family. He often enjoyed watching his favorite Westerns, immersing himself in stories of the Old West. Above all, he was incredibly proud of his family, especially of his two grandsons' military service, and he would light up with joy whenever he shared stories about their achievements.
Eldon was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie McInnis, and his parents, Eldon and Inez McInnis. He is survived by two daughters, Laura and husband Kody, and Jamie and husband Jeremy; grandchildren, Maverick and wife Reina, Cutler, Justin, Jailey Jenna; and great-grandchildren, twins on the way.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, entrusted to the care of Brownfield Funeral Home.
A special thank you to Apex Care, Ralls Rehab Ranch, and Interim Hospice for the care provided to Eldon.
