Eleanor Wise Bennett, 91 of Grand Island, FL passed away peacefully with family January 27, 2026 at her residence. She was born in Kinston, North Carolina on December 29, 1934 and was a CNA. She loved her family, taking care of people and had her own AFLC on Fatio Road in DeLand. Eleanor was a member of First Methodist Church in DeLand, volunteered with the Red Cross, liked to travel and loved the Royal Family. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Kenneth Charles Bennett, her son in law Craig Dudzinski, 2 brothers and 7 sisters. She is survived by sons Kenneth Bennett, II (Lisa) of DeLeon Springs and Alfred Bennett of DeLand; daughter Debra Dudzinski of Grand Island, FL; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 4th at 2pm at the Chapel of Peace at DeLand Memorial Gardens.
