Tammy Brooks Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home & Crematory - DeLand on Mar. 11, 2026.
With deep love and sadness, the family of Tammy Brooks announces her passing on March 8th, 2026, at the age of 60 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Tammy Brooks (Ashby) was born on November 23rd, 1965, in Cleveland, Ohio to William Arthur Ashby and Pauline June Ashby (Wagner). Throughout her life, she was known for her strength, kindness, and the deep love she had for her family. Her greatest pride and joy were being a mother to her six children, whom she loved with all her heart.

She leaves behind her beloved children Robert (Sophie) Brooks, Amanda (Nathan) Buckland, Justin (Kimberly) Brooks, Sara (Brad) Brooks, Brian (Jessica) Brooks and Lillyanna (Joshua) Boyle. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren: Tristan, Violette, Olivia, Anastasia, Ruby, Wyatt, and Coraline. Additionally, she leaves behind her younger sister Paula Ashby, her nephew Benjamin Ashby, and her significant other Charles King. She was preceded in death by her father William Ashby, her mother Pauline Ashby, and her older sister Shelly Ashby.

Tammy will be remembered for her sense of humor, generosity, and her unconditional love for her family. She enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, coloring, word searches, watching westerns, cartoons, crime shows, and scary movies but what meant the most to her was time spent with the people she loved.

In accordance with her wishes, no formal services will be held.

Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family forever.
