Eleanor Lou "Ellie" Bissonnette passed away on January 22, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio.
Born on October 24, 1931, Ellie was a devoted mother who faced life's challenges with resilience and determination. As a single mother of three daughters, she worked tirelessly to provide for her family, ensuring they were always cared for and supported. Her generosity extended beyond her immediate family, as she was known for her kindness and willingness to help others.
Ellie had the knack for cooking and baking, bringing joy to those around her through the years. She also had a keen eye for finding the best deals, whether at a store, garage sale, or estate sale-a skill she proudly passed down to her daughters and granddaughters. Her dedication and hard work were evident in every aspect of her life, but above all, she will be remembered for the love she gave as a mother. She is deeply missed by her daughters, Sherri (Dennis) Reissig, Mitzi (Ted Spidel) Bayer, and Bari (Michael) Newcombe; her five granddaughters and their families; as well as her great-grandchildren.

Going to church at Our Saviour with Ellie, I know she was a very nice person. My mom (Ethel Bissonnette) also enjoyed knowing her. We also had a family connection. I will never forget her.
