Eleanor Carle Obituary
Eleanor Louise Carle, 88, of Kingston, ID, passed away on July 25, 2025 at Mountain Valley of Cascadia Health and Rehabilitation in Kellogg, ID. Eleanor Louise was born on January 12, 1937 in California, a daughter of the late Amos and Eleanor (Sandow) Frisbie.
Eleanor attended Kingston school, until her marriage to Laurel Alvin Carle on February 12, 1953. Eleanor Louise Carle will be remembered for her many years of working at the HiCo.
She enjoyed art and crafts, especially quilting. Eleanor Louise also enjoyed spending time outdoors loved fishing or working in her garden. Eleanor Louise was an avid reader. She was a fiercely strong and independent woman who loved her family immensely. Eleanor Louise will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Laurel Alvin Carle, Eleanor Louise was preceded in death by two children, Alvin (aka Pete) Carle and Pam Campbell; and three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by four children, Robert (Ramona) Carle of Post Falls, ID, Cheryl (Jim) Banks of Smelterville, ID, Connie (Larry) Shrock of Kingston, ID and David (Loleta) Carle of Spirit Lake, ID; two sisters, Dorothy Erickson of Pinehurst, ID and Rose Crieger of Kellogg, ID; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and family may gather at Shoshone Funeral Services, 106 S. Main St. Kellogg, for visitation on Monday, July 28, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM and again on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Inurnment will occur at a later date in Hunt Cemetery, Kingston, ID.
