Hevalow, Eleanor Louise, - 72, of Galloway Township, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021. She was born in Atlantic City, to Rachael Bernice (Arrington) and Leroy Hevalow. Eleanor attended the Atlantic City Public Schools and graduated from Atlantic City High School. She attended Glassboro State College where she earned her Bachelor's in education. She worked for the Atlantic City Board of Education as a teacher for thirty-three years. During her career, she was twice named Teacher of the Year. Eleanor was a loving and caring person, who always put the needs of others before hers. She loved her family and was very supportive of them. She would be there for her family in any way that she could. In her spare time, Eleanor enjoyed playing Pinochle and Bingo with friends and clubs. She is predeceased by: her parents, Rachel Bernice and Leroy Hevalow; sisters, Janice and Bernice Rachel Hevalow, and Sharon Morgan; brothers, Gerald, Andrew and Richard Hevalow. Eleanor is survived by: her children, Lee Bond and Janielle Hevalow; brothers, Eric and Theopolous "Butch" Hevalow; grandchildren, Tanisha Bryant and Reginald Robinson; and a host of other family members and friends. Graveside funeral services will be Noon, Saturday, July 24, 2021, Atlantic City Cemetery, Doughty Road, Pleasantville. A visitation will be from 10AM-11AM, Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Greenidge Funeral Home, 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City. Condolences maybe left at www.greenidgefuneralhomes.com.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to the Hevalow family. She was an inspiration to all that she taught. I was blessed to have her as my teacher and cherish all of the fond memories of visiting her classroom throughout the years. She was the loveliest person I ever knew and will be deeply missed... My heart goes out to the Hevalow family. She inspired me to always do my best, work hard, and follow my dreams.... She is the reason I am a teacher today.

My sincere condolences to the Hevalow family, I have never forgotten Eleanor I worked with her at Community Baptist Church my first job at age 14 I'm now 63. She was such a beautiful person I have often spoken of her. She will never be forgotten. She left a lasting impression on me.. Rest well beautiful
