Eleanor Porrini (nee Bernardin), beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister, passed away on September 6, 2024 at her home in West Chester, PA.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Eleanor was the daughter of the late Gaspare and Carlotta (nee Zagonal) Bernardin. She is predeceased by her sister Mary Davia (nee Bernardin) and her brother Robert Bernardin.
Eleanor was the sweetheart and wife of Charles A. Porrini who passed away on July 21, 2024. They were married for over 71 years. She was a devoted mother of her daughter, Karen A. Porrini. She was an aunt to several nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, cousin, as well as godmother to other family members.
Eleanor was the office manager of Charles Porrini's dental practice for 26 years. She previously worked as a secretary to support her husband while he attended dental school.
Eleanor was known for her kindness, warmth, generosity, and faithful dedication to her family and friends. She was an excellent cook, baker, and seamstress. Eleanor was the peacemaker of the family. Her loving spirit and vibrancy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:30-11:00 AM Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Road, West Chester, PA 19380, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
