Barbara A. Porrini
Age 55, of Sharon Hill, passed away on January 9, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Barbara was born in Darby and was a graduate of Penn Wood High School. She devoted her career to caring for others as a nurse, most recently at the Society of the Holy Child Jesus.
Barbara found joy in spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren. She had a deep love for animals and a passion for the open road, sharing countless motorcycle rides with her husband, Joseph. She enjoyed family vacations to North Wildwood and spending summers at the pool.
Barbara's warmth, kindness, and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is predeceased by her parents John and Carol Chappelle and her sister Carol Stewart.
Survivors: Beloved wife of Joseph Porrini, loving mother of Jessica (Sean), Jacqueline (Chris), Derek (Cessily), Alex and Gianna, cherished grandmother "Bebe" of Peyton, Isabella, Paisley, Scarlett and Mia, dear sister of Jack (Cathy) Chappelle, Jeanne Schultz, Bob (Rose) Chappelle and Steve (Eileen) Chappelle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing: 10-11:15am at Society of Holy Child Jesus
Funeral Mass: 11:30 am Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Society of Holy Child Jesus, 1341 W Montgomery Ave Bryn Mawr, PA 19010. Mass will be celebrated by Fr Denis Wilde, OSA.
Burial: Private
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Society of Holy Child Jesus, 1341 W Montgomery Ave Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 would be appreciated.

I am very saddened to hear Barbara is gone. I knew her 28 years she was one of the first few friends I made coming to this town. She will be missed for sure by me and many whose lives she touched. RIP
