Shirley Bitting Obituary

Born in Ridley Park, PA Shirley was the daughter of the late John and Elsie Bissinger. She graduated in 1970 from Interboro High School.
She was a devoted homemaker who loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She enjoyed a spotless house, taking walks on Cape Henlopen Beach, swimming, yoga, horses, spending time with her family, and listening to music.
She is predeceased by her parents, her nephews Michael Hunt and John Tinney Jr., and her brother in law Bill DeVuono.
Shirl is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 57 years Jack Bitting, loving mother of Jenn (Doc) Dougherty, Thom( Tammy) Bitting and Brooke (Brian) Foreacre, cherished grandmother also known as Nag Nags of Anthony "AJ", Chloe, Ryan(Gia), Justin, Thomas, Tanya, Hailey, Paige, Maya, great grandmother (Nag Nags) of Luke, Mia and another great granddaughter on the way Nova, dear sister of Jeannie, Janie(Jack), Debbie ( John), Carol (George), Johnny, Elsie (Joe), Bob, Joe and Joyce (Bob) and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass: 10am Tuesday November 18, 205 at St Gabriel Church, Mohawk Ave Norwood Pa. 19074 Visitation: 9-10am on Tuesday in the church Burial: Private
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Bayada Hospice, 4250 Lancaster Pike Suite 308 Wilmington, DE. 19805 would be appreciated.
