Eleanor T. Raymo, age 95 of Port Huron, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
After graduating from Deckerville High School in 1947, she moved to Port Huron and lived there the rest of her life. She married Kenneth G. Raymo on July 24, 1948, and he preceded her in death in 1999.
Eleanor worked for Prestolite for 43 years. Eleanor did volunteer work for Port Huron Hospital (McLaren) and traveled worldwide with her beloved husband, Kenneth. She loved bowling, golf, bingo, cards, and casinos. She wintered in Bonita Springs, Florida for 29 years, after retirement.
She is survived by three sons; Dennis (Beth) Raymo of Slinger, Wi., Kevin (Debbie) Raymo of Sebastian, Fl. and Gary (Belinda) Raymo of Port Huron, Mi., eight grandchildren; Dawn Weatherford, Erin Conley, Danielle Mandeville, Angie McDevitt, Caitlyn Franzen, John Graham, Rebecca Hisscock, and Alex Bird, twenty one great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren, sister, Rosie Henderson and a brother, Terry Schiesler.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Janie Chambers and a brother, John Schiesler.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday – February 20, 2025 at 12:00pm (noon) in the Jowett Funeral Home – 1634 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron. Visiting hours will be from 10:00am until the time of service. The burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
