Great-grandmother of the late Laila Bazaz; she is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa Mele (Chris); three beloved grandchildren, Lara Dougherty (Michael), Leah Bazaz (Gautam), Christian Mele; three cherished great-grandchildren, Lucy & Grant Dougherty, Ashanti Bazaz; a caring niece, Julie Fayer; and dear brother-in-law, Jim Fayer.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family Saturday, January 14th from 2 to 3 pm at the Gaskill-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Funeral service will follow at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Voorhees Animal Orphanage (vaonj.org) or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org)

I will never forget all of our wonderful conversations and the joy it brought me. She had such a great spirit. I will miss receiving the many cards she sent just to say hello. My condolences to the family.
