Eleanora Anna Lindow, age 102, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour.

Born June 26, 1923, in Merrill, Wisconsin, to the late John and Martha (Eggebrecht) Zoellner, Eleanora lived a life guided by faith, family, and gentle joy. She married Clarence Lindow on June 21, 1942, at age nineteen. They celebrated 64 years of marriage, until Clarence's passing in 2006.

A dedicated homemaker and loving mother, Eleanora raised five children, later helping care for her grandchildren. Her family was her greatest treasureâ€"reflected in the heartfelt words she shared on her 102nd birthday: â€sI want my children to know how much I love them and how proud of them I am.â€t

Eleanora found joy in the home she and Clarence created in the countryside, especially the arched bridge over the creek, the woodland trilliums, and the tall pines lining the driveway. She delighted in walks through the neighborhood and cherished baking days with family, especially making Christmas cookies.

For many years, Eleanora and Clarence helped run their daughter’s gift shop in Ephraim, WI, where they enjoyed greeting customers and making meaningful connections. Her strong Lutheran faith guided her life, as she was a longtime member of Peace Lutheran Church in Green Bay.

In her later years, Eleanora was lovingly cared for by her son Roger and his partner Barbara Diederich, with whom she lived for thirteen years. The family is forever grateful for Barbara’s extraordinary devotion and the many sacrifices she made in service of Eleanora’s comfort and wellbeing.

Those who knew Eleanora remember her as a gentle soul, a remarkable listener, and a steadfast friend. Her kindness and calm presence leave an enduring legacy.

She is survived by her children: Roger (Barbara Diederich) Lindow, Sandra (Thomas) Kramer, Ralph Lindow, Deborah (James) Ring, and James Lindow.
She is further survived by 14 grandchildren:
Laurie (Al), Craig (Lisa), Jeffery, Natalie (Shawn), Heather (partner Michel), Kristine, Kerry Beth, Amanda, Candice (Riley), Michael (Leah), Stephanie (Ben), and Lucas (Shana);
and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clarence, her parents, and her siblings: Margaret (Lyle) Markee, Ed (Mary) Zoellner, and Dorothy (Charles) Bartos.

The family extends heartfelt appreciation to the compassionate staff of Good Shepherd Services in Seymour for their devoted care of Eleanora. The family would also like to thank Unity Hospice for their support and care of Eleanora.

A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church in Green Bay with Pastor Stuart Dornfeld officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 4:00pm to 7:00 pm at Lyndahl Funeral Home and again on Wednesday AT CHURCH from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.
