Elena Waas Obituary
Ellie was a resident of Raleigh, NC. She was a beloved daughter, sister, dog aunt, and friend.
Ellie had an unforgettable mega-watt smile, a bubbly, bright, energetic personality, and legendary customer service skills. Nature, animals, art, and good food and drink brought Ellie the most joy.
Ellie is sorely missed, survived by her parents (Johnathan and Preeti Waas), sister (Amy Waas), and family dog (Moo).
No public service is planned. The family has chosen to celebrate and mourn Ellie privately.
The family and those who loved Ellie can best remember her through all of Ellie's favorite things: supporting your local artists, coffee shops, beaches, parks (especially Green Hills County Park), and movie theaters.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, if so inclined, please donate to an organization dedicated to one of the following causes, in Ellie's memory: Ecological Conservation & Preservation, Animal Welfare, Women's Rights or LGBTQ Equity, or Humanitarian Aid.
RDU Cremation is honored to assist the family during this time.
