Eleonora Scolieri
On Sunday August 15, 2021 beloved wife of the late Filippo Scolieri; mother of Philip (Erica), Dominic (Kimberly), Paul (Sun), and Frank (Valerie) Scolieri; grandmother of Brandon, Juliette, and Nicholas Scolieri, Paolo and Kai Scolieri, Frankie, Luca, Roman and Alaina Scolieri; sister of the late Giuseppe Labate (Rosa), Elisabetta Febbraro (late Domenico), and Caterina Marcello (late Santo); also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Eleonora immigrated to this country with Filippo in 1961. She truly enjoyed cooking, as her meals would gather many in her home. But her greatest passion was her husband, children, and grand children who she devoted her life to raising and instilling values of achievement, acceptance, and compassion. She will be terribly missed by the many, whose lives she touched. Friends and family will be received at John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc 4900 Centre Avenue at Devonshire Street (freyvogelfuneralhome.com) on Wednesday 6-8pm and Thursday 2-4 & 6-8pm. The Scolieri family kindly requests that all visitors wear masks. Funeral Friday, Mass of Christian Burial St. Jude Parish, St. Raphael Church 10:00AM. Remembrances may be made to "An Evening for Autism" c/o Valerie Scolieri, 10178 Sudberry Drive, Wexford, PA 15090
