It is with great sadness we report the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Eli Salnick. Born on August 2, 1929, Eli was able to see and do a lot in his short 95 years. After serving our country in the United States Army, Eli began his career in the food industry, eventually becoming one of the most successful meat brokers in his profession, enjoying a worldwide reputation. He moved from New Jersey to Florida in 1973 where he worked until his early retirement at age 57.
Eli was a devoted husband to Millicent as well as a super grandfather, great grandfather, and a wonderful father to Michael. He was an excellent athlete and excelled in tennis and golf.
He played golf up until he was 91 years old. He and Millicent enjoyed 74 3/4 years of marriage and dedication to each other and 77 years together.
They traveled all over the world and were able to see and do it all.
"Hot coffee, a lot of ice, and a great steak" were things that restaurants everywhere will remember him for. He will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at
Star of David Cemetery of the Palm Beaches,
9321 Memorial Park Road Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412.
