Paz is survived by his mother and step-father, Joanna and Brandon Johnston; father and step-mother, Raul Gonzalez and Alania ; paternal grandparents, Raul and Magaly Gonzalez Sr.; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Doris and Donald Duguay; maternal grandfather, Gregory Houston; sister, Charli Johnston; brothers, Michael Houston, Dayon Walker; siblings from his father's side: Mayson, Johvanni, Ella, Sofia, Samantha, A'Yahna, A'Maiyah, Maleyah, Le'lah.
Paz was an active member of Cowan Mill Church.
The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM from Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Pastor Joshua Smith and Pastor Jeremy Brewer officiating. Interment will follow the service at West Georgia Memorial Park with Michael Houston, Dayon Walker, Johvanni Gonzalez, Raul Gonzalez, Donovan Houston, Donald Dugay, and Brandon Johnston serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Gregory Houston and Raul Gonzalez Sr.

Sending condolences to the Gonzales and Johnston family regarding the sweetest, kindest and beautiful child that called me Gigi. The times I got to spend with you and see you on FaceTime with my other great grands is a treasure that my heart will hold forever. I'm so grateful and honored that God blessed me to have you and your brother JoJo a precious part of our tribe. You, will be missed and loved forever.
