Cecil Daniel Sellars, Jr., age 70, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Tanner Medical Center.

Born on March 3, 1955, in LaGrange, Georgia, Cecil was the son of the late Cecil Daniel Sellars, Sr. and the late Bertha Lorene Noles Sellars. He spent much of his life on the road as a dedicated truck driver before retiring.

Cecil is survived by his devoted partner, Emma Kay Rogers of Carrollton, Georgia, and her three sons, Todd, Chad, and Clint Hardeman, all of Winder, Georgia. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Barbara Diane Sellars, and her daughter, Autumn QiuYu Sellars, both of Statesboro, Georgia. Cecil leaves behind his three children: Tonia Sellars Griswold and her husband, Paul, of Lawrenceville, Georgia; Cecil Daniel Sellars III and his wife, Michelle, of LaGrange, Georgia; and Tracy Sellars Eley and her husband, Brandon, also of LaGrange, Georgia. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and great-grandfather to three.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lora Jane Sellars Cornett, and one grandson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home in Carrollton, Georgia. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM on Friday in the chapel of Martin & Hightower Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Carroll Memory Gardens.
