'Elias had come into my thoughts right about the time of his passing apparently, seems odd in ways... He was a great and very welcome shop keeper (Eye Doctor) here on Laurel Street, my Art Gallery is located only four doors west of his office... 'Always very friendly to everyone, and with my being so tall I could often see him reading a book at his desk, obviously between eye appointments... I would always tap on the glass and wave at his smiling personality as I walked by... It was almost unbelievable when Elias retired, none of us had ever imagined Laurel Street without him ~ a truly wonderful man...
