Elihue Couch Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Age 61, of Arcanum, passed away on August 28, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the Football and Track Head Coach and helped start the wrestling program and coached for Arcanum Jr. High School for many years. He later moved to the High School and coached track and the wrestling team. In 2020, Elihue was inducted to the Arcanum Schools Hall of Fame and at one time held 2 records in football. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elihue & Emma Laura (Davis) Couch Jr.; sister, Mildred Wathen and brother, David Couch Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Michelle (Gearhart) Couch; children, Patrick Couch (Courtney) of Arcanum, Zachary Couch of Arcanum and Eric Couch of Arcanum; grandchildren, Denver and Aspen Couch; sister, Stacy Bolton (Joe); brother-in-law, William Wathen and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be on September 3, 2025, from 5-8 p.m. at KREITZER FUNERAL HOME, 204 N. MAIN ST. ARCANUM, OH 45304. Funeral service will be on September 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. at KREITZER FUNERAL HOME. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.kreitzerfuneralhome.com.
